Banyana Banyana captain Refiloe Jane says South Africa is determined to improve when they face Japan in their second international friendly in Osaka on Tuesday.
The South Africans are looking to bounce back after a 5-0 defeat in the first match on Saturday.
“We have a chance to rectify our mistakes and work on our organisation as a team, defensively and offensively. We’re looking for a better match in the second game,” said Jane.
The match will also be a special occasion for the midfielder, who is set to make her 150th appearance for Banyana Banyana.
“When I look at that milestone, it’s something to be grateful for. It shows the hard work, commitment and discipline throughout the years in the national team,” she said.
Jane will become only the fourth player to reach the 150-cap milestone for South Africa. Kick-off is at 08:30 South African time.
