Police have launched a manhunt for suspects linked to the murder of three men whose bodies were discovered inside a vehicle on the R75 near Chatty Dip in Kwadwesi, Gqeberha.
According to police, officers were called to the scene at approximately 16:15 on Saturday, 13 June 2026, following reports of a murder.
Upon arrival, police found a grey Toyota Starlet with three male occupants inside. The victims, aged between 27 and 36, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were declared dead at the scene.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released as formal identification procedures are still underway.
Police said the motive for the killings remains unknown and forms part of the ongoing investigation.
A case of murder, involving three counts, has been opened. The investigation has since been handed over to the Serious and Violent Crime Investigation (SVCI) Unit for further probing.
Police have urged anyone with information that may assist in tracing the suspects to contact the nearest police station or Crime Stop anonymously.
