The legal proceedings in the murder case of South African rapper AKA are expected to advance as Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande return to court alongside five co-accused.
The pair, who were extradited from Eswatini, previously abandoned their bail application after it was denied. They are now set to be formally integrated into the upcoming High Court trial, where all accused will face the full scope of the charges.
The case, which includes allegations of double murder and conspiracy to commit murder, has moved beyond preliminary bail considerations and into the trial phase, marking a key procedural step in one of the country’s most closely watched criminal matters.
The proceedings form part of a broader High Court process involving all accused individuals, as the justice system prepares to hear evidence and determine the outcome of the case.
