MK Party expels Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla and Nhlamulo Ndhlela

The MK Party has expelled Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla and Nhlamulo Ndhlela with immediate effect, accusing them of undermining party unity, promoting factionalism and disregarding organisational structures.

In a statement, the party said both members acted contrary to its values, discipline and constitutional principles. Zuma-Sambudla was accused of making public statements and social media posts that damaged party cohesion, while Ndhlela allegedly acted without proper authority and misrepresented party positions.

The pair were also criticised over their involvement in matters relating to the late MK Party MP Muzi Ntshingila, including actions allegedly taken without the knowledge of his family.

The party said both members ignored instructions from Parliamentary Leader Dr John Hlophe to refrain from public commentary and funeral-related activities.

Announcing the decision, the MK Party said their memberships had been terminated and that they would no longer enjoy any rights or privileges associated with the organisation.
