Veteran music producer Sibonginkosi ‘Dj Oscar’ Mdlongwa,is among the notable South Africans set to be honoured with the Order of Ikhamanga at the 2026 National Orders ceremony.
The awards will be presented by President Cyril Ramaphosa today at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse.
Oskido is being recognised for his significant contribution to South African music, particularly his role in shaping and popularising house music and mentoring generations of artists in the entertainment industry.
The Order of Ikhamanga honours individuals who have excelled in arts, culture, literature, music, journalism, or sport, and have contributed to the country’s cultural and social development.
