Police executed 25 search warrants and 23 Section 22 searches, resulting in nine arrests for drug possession, while seven enquiries remain under investigation.
During the operation, officers seized drugs including cocaine, tik, mandrax and dagga, along with 8 rounds of ammunition, a toy gun and a gas gun. A large quantity of prescription medication, such as Stilpain and Alprazolam tablets, was also confiscated.
Other items recovered include cash, abalone, diving equipment, a Jeep, cellphones, laptops and an oxygen cylinder.
Acting Nelson Mandela Bay District Commissioner, Brigadier Loyiso Ngalo, praised officers for their dedication, adding that operations will continue to target criminal activity across the province.
