Police in Walmer have launched an urgent manhunt following a shocking quadruple murder in Airport Valley in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to preliminary police reports, officers were dispatched at about 00:34 on 17 April 2026 after a shooting complaint was received via Radio Control. Police responded to a residence on Ndlovu Street, where they were met by a complainant outside the property.
The complainant led officers to a shack on the premises, where four bodies were discovered. The victims include two brothers aged 20 and 22, and two females aged 19 and 17. All four had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
Investigators say the 22-year-old male was shot in the right side of the face, while the 20-year-old sustained two gunshot wounds to the same area. Both female victims were also found with gunshot wounds to the head.
At this stage, the motive for the attack remains unknown and forms part of ongoing investigations. Police have confirmed that four counts of murder have been opened.
The complainant told police he had briefly left the premises to go to a nearby shop and returned to find the victims inside the shack.
