A policeman who went on a killing spree was arrested by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate for the murder of three people in Centane in the Eastern Cape over a land plot.
According to the IPID Spokesperson Ndileka Cola, the warrant officer had an argument with a church pastor over a land plot the church was using.
She said the church had started building a hall on the same piece of land ” the cop allegedly shot the and killed the pastor, another church member and wounded another person. Cola further said, the cop proceeded to the home of the headman from whom he got the church land from and fatally wounded him. The policeman is expected to apply for bail application at the Mthatha VIP Protection Unit where he is stationed.
