Political fixer Brown Mogotsi has been denied bail for the fourth time by the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
Mogotsi is in custody over allegations that he staged an assassination attempt against himself in Vosloorus in November 2025.
He faces charges including perjury, defeating or obstructing the administration of justice, and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The court raised concerns about his proposed residential addresses and the possibility of him fleeing if released on bail.
Mogotsi has denied the allegations against him and remains in custody while the case continues.
He will remain in custody, with the case postponed to 1 October 2026 for arrangements for a trial date.
