Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze following the expiry of their two-year contracts with the club.
Ben Youssef joined Amakhosi at the start of the 2024/25 season, while Kaze arrived later in October 2024. The pair initially served under former head coach Nasreddine Nabi before taking charge of the senior team after his departure in October 2025.
Under their leadership, Chiefs finished the season with 54 league points — the club’s second-best tally in the past 11 years. The team also narrowly missed out on progressing to the knockout stages of the CAF Confederation Cup after ending Group D on 10 points.
Across all competitions during the 2025/26 season, the coaching duo oversaw 39 matches, recording 19 wins, 11 draws and nine defeats.
The club also confirmed the departure of conditioning coach Majdi Safi following the end of his contract.
Kaizer Chiefs thanked the coaches for their contribution and wished them well in their future careers.
