Mamelodi Sundowns have officially announced the signing of Bafana Bafana defender Thabang Matuludi from Polokwane City.
The 27-year-old right-back joins the Brazilians after attracting interest from Orlando Pirates, with the move strengthening Sundowns’ defensive options ahead of the new season.
Matuludi established himself as a promising full-back during his time at Polokwane City, where he made 72 top-flight appearances, scoring six goals and providing two assists.
His arrival adds depth at right-back following Khuliso Mudau’s long-term injury, with Matuludi set to compete for a place alongside Deano Van Rooyen.
The defender will now look to make his mark at Chloorkop as Sundowns pursue further domestic and continental success.
