The South African Police Service (SAPS) in New Brighton is appealing to members of the public for assistance in locating 20-year-old Likhanye Mjoli, who has been reported missing.
Mjoli was last seen on 1 September 2026, when she left her home in Nconco Street, New Brighton. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a cream-coloured T-shirt with the number 23 printed in navy blue on the back, light-grey tracksuit pants and beige campus tekkies with green stripes. She was also wearing spectacles.
A missing person enquiry was opened at the New Brighton Community Service Centre (CSC) on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.
Eastern Cape police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg urged anyone who may have information that could assist in locating Mjoli to come forward.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is requested to contact the New Brighton Police Station Charge Office on 082 457 2745, Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or submit information via the MySAPS App.
Information may be provided anonymously and will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
