Police have seized suspected cocaine worth an estimated R300 million during an intelligence-driven operation at a plot in Northriding, Johannesburg.
Honeydew police carried out the operation at about 8.30pm on Saturday, 12 September 2026, after receiving information about suspected drug-related activities at the property.
The operation led to the recovery of the suspected cocaine, while police also seized a black Land Cruiser SUV allegedly displaying false registration numbers and bearing an altered vehicle identification number (VIN).
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Police said investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the seizure and identify those behind the suspected drug operation.
Honeydew police have vowed to intensify intelligence-driven operations targeting the illicit drug trade and other serious crimes.
