Orlando Pirates have a golden opportunity to reclaim top spot in the Betway Premiership title race following Kaizer Chiefs’ 1-1 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Sundowns remain at the summit on 65 points, just three ahead of Pirates, who still have a game in hand. A victory over Magesi FC on Saturday would see Pirates level on points with Sundowns and potentially move to the top on goal difference with only two matches remaining.
But Magesi are expected to pose a difficult challenge after frustrating several top sides this season with their disciplined defensive approach.
Pirates will also be under pressure to deliver as they look to regain momentum in the title race after recently surrendering first place.
