Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of 38-year-old jogger Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo.
The suspects were allegedly found in possession of property believed to have been stolen from Moselakgomo.
Moselakgomo went missing in September after leaving her home in Rhodesfield, Kempton Park, for a run. Her body was later identified at the Germiston mortuary, bringing a tragic end to the search for her.
Her murder drew widespread public attention and reignited calls for stronger action against gender-based violence and improved safety for women exercising in public spaces.
The arrest of the four suspects marks a development in the investigation.
The suspects will appear before the court soon
