The Johannesburg High Court has postponed the pre-trial conference in the murder case of popular radio personality and businessman Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock after one of the accused failed to appear in court due to what the State described as a mix-up over the hearing date.
The matter was expected to proceed on Friday but was postponed to Monday, 27 July 2026, when both accused are expected to appear before the court.
Victor Majola and Armando Pacula face charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with Stock’s fatal shooting in Johannesburg’s CBD on 16 December 2025.
Stock was gunned down outside Zambesi House, a building in the Johannesburg city centre where he was involved in managing security operations. According to investigators, he had just arrived at the premises when he was approached and shot multiple times in what police believe was a targeted hit.
The State alleges the killing was premeditated and linked to disputes surrounding control and security contracts at the hijacked building. Court proceedings have previously heard that one of the accused allegedly identified Stock to the gunman moments before the fatal shooting.
Both accused remain before the courts as the State prepares to prosecute the high-profile murder case.
The pre-trial conference is expected to continue on Monday, with the matter moving a step closer to trial.
