A 40-year-old woman wanted in connection with the murder of DJ Warras has been arrested in KwaZulu-Natal and is expected to be transferred to Gauteng police.
Hlengiwe Goodness Buthelezi was arrested in the Ngcengeni area of Msinga on Wednesday, 9 September, after police received information about her whereabouts.
Buthelezi is facing allegations of murder and conspiracy to commit murder following the killing of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock in the Johannesburg CBD on 16 December 2025.
Investigators allege that Buthelezi, who is reportedly the girlfriend of alleged mastermind Victor Majola, supplied Majola with information about Stock, including details of his vehicle.
Majola remains in custody on charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Joaquim Armando Pacula pleaded guilty to Stock’s murder and was sentenced to an effective 25 years in prison.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda confirmed that Buthelezi would be handed over to Gauteng police for further investigation.
