The case against two men accused of murdering popular radio personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock has been postponed to 18 June 2026 for pre-trial proceedings.
Armando Pacula and Victor Majola appeared before the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, where the matter was officially transferred to the High Court.
The pair faces charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Pacula is also facing an additional charge of contravening the Immigration Act.
DJ Warras, whose real name was Warrick Stock, was shot and killed outside a building in the Johannesburg CBD in December 2025.
According to authorities, the well-known broadcaster was seated inside his vehicle when he was approached by three suspects who allegedly opened fire before fleeing the scene. He was declared dead at the scene.
The Durban-born media personality built a successful career in broadcasting and entertainment, having worked at major radio stations including YFM, 5FM, and Gagasi FM. He was also known for his television work as a presenter on SABC.
The murder shocked the entertainment industry and sparked an outpouring of tributes from colleagues, listeners, and fans across the country.
The matter will return to court on 18 June 2026.
