The death toll of the recent DMJ bus accident has now risen to 31.
The latest victim is a little girl, presumed to be a one-year-old girl, who succumbed to her injuries at Frere hospital on Wednesday.
The DMJ long-distance bus travelling from Cape Town to Mthatha crashed in the Kei Cuttings between Butterworth and East London late on Monday afternoon.
Provincial Traffic spokesperson Unathi Binqose said that 23 of the 31 victims had been identified and the hope was to complete the process by the end of the day.
The victims, who were travelling to Ngcobo, Dutywa and Mthatha, include 23 women, five men and four children.
