Two men, aged 26 and 27, were arrested after police seized dagga and dagga by-products worth an estimated R77,400 during Operation Shanela II in Bloemfontein.
Officers traced the drugs to a property in Willows following a stop-and-search operation. One suspect tried to escape through a toilet window, while the other was arrested near a kennel containing pit bulls.
Police confiscated thousands of ready-made zols, packaged dagga, dagga oil and cash suspected to be drug proceeds.
The suspects face charges of dealing in dagga and are expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court soon.
