New Pyramids FC head coach Rulani Mokwena could reunite with familiar faces after former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile and ex-Orlando Pirates forward Tshegofatso Mabasa were offered to the Egyptian club.
Pyramids are searching for a replacement for departing striker Fiston Mayele, with both South African forwards emerging as potential options.
However, the final decision now rests with Mokwena, who must decide whether to bring either striker to Cairo ahead of the new season.
Although Shalulile and Mabasa are attracting interest from Betway Premiership clubs, both players are understood to prefer moves abroad.
