The Minister of Health, Aaron Motsoaledi, has visited the grieving family of victims involved in a tragic road accident on the N1 highway near Bela-Bela in Limpopo.
The accident, which occurred on 9 May 2026, involved a vehicle linked to the minister’s security detail and resulted in the deaths of a mother and her baby. The crash has drawn national attention and sparked renewed concerns about road safety on major routes.
Motsoaledi visited the family on 15 May 2026 at Bela-Bela Extension 5 in the Waterberg District, Limpopo Province, where he offered condolences and paid homage to the lives lost.
