Mbalula to address taxi associations embroiled in deadly war

Minister of transport, Fikile Mbalula, is anticipated to address the taxi industry in the Western Cape Province on Monday. The address comes after 20 lives were lost due to a taxi feud between the Cata and Codeta over routes.

Certain routes have been temporarily closed to try and stem the violence.

The deadly taxi war led to the deployment of police together with the army to calm the situation.
