Eric Tinkler’s short spell in Ghana has come to an end after the South African coach parted ways with Asante Kotoko with immediate effect.
Tinkler asked to be released from his contract for personal reasons, bringing his tenure to an end after just four Ghana Premier League matches.
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder recorded one win, two draws and one defeat during his time in charge.
Asante Kotoko have struggled to establish themselves near the top end of the league standings and currently occupy 13th position.
The Ghanaian giants thanked Tinkler for his professionalism and commitment during his time at the club.
The focus now turns to the search for a new head coach, with Asante Kotoko looking to steady their campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
