Two women accused of the murder of Jabulile Ntimba are back in the Boksburg Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 1 October 2026, for their formal bail application.
Tsakane Nester Msithini, 38, and Fortunate Masilela, 31, are facing charges of premeditated murder and defeating or obstructing the ends of justice.
The pair are accused of killing Ntimba, whose body was discovered in an open area in Villa Liza, near Dawn Park, on 17 September.
Police have previously indicated that the murder may have been linked to a relationship dispute.
The two accused first appeared in the Boksburg Magistrates’ Court on 21 September, when the matter was postponed to 1 October for their formal bail application. They have remained in custody since their arrest.
The State is expected to oppose bail. As the accused face a Schedule 6 murder charge, they will have to satisfy the court that exceptional circumstances exist for them to be released on bail.
A third suspect who was arrested in connection with the murder was subsequently released after the State determined that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute the individual at that stage.
Police investigations into Ntimba’s murder are continuing.
