Three Lesotho nationals accused in the Cleveland mass shooting in Gauteng have abandoned their bail application.
The accused appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court, where they face 13 counts of murder and 14 counts of attempted murder.
They have pleaded not guilty, alleging that they were coerced into confessing to the crimes.
The case has been postponed to 21 August for further investigation. The State has indicated it will oppose any future bail application.
