Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala is expected to return to court on Tuesday alongside his wife, Tsakane Matlala, and three co-accused as proceedings in their high-profile attempted murder case continue.
The accused face 11 counts of attempted murder linked to three separate shooting incidents allegedly committed between August 2022 and January 2024.
Court proceedings are expected to focus on the State’s request for outstanding police evidence, while the defence is expected to continue disputing claims that the police vehicles used during the arrest and detention of the accused lacked tracking systems.
