Three suspects have been arrested after Gauteng Traffic Police recovered a hijacked vehicle in the Lindhaven Princess Informal Settlement.
The Gauteng Traffic Police Saturation Unit, working with Cartrack, tracked the vehicle after it was hijacked earlier in Roodepoort. Officers located the vehicle in the informal settlement, where the suspects attempted to flee.
Police said the suspects crashed into another vehicle along South Road while trying to escape before they were arrested.
The trio now faces charges relating to the possession of a stolen motor vehicle
