South Africa can expect mostly fine, cool to warm weather conditions this week, with no severe weather expected, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
The weather service said Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to bring partly cloudy conditions ranging from cool to warm, with isolated showers possible over the eastern parts of the country.
SAWS urged members of the public and stakeholders to continue monitoring official weather forecasts and warnings, particularly as conditions can change.
“Members of the public and stakeholders are urged to continue monitoring official SAWS forecasts and warnings, as updates will be issued when the likelihood and severity of any impacts become clearer,” the weather service said.
The public was also warned against relying on unauthorised or unverified weather information circulating on social media and other platforms.
“The public is also advised to be cautious of unauthorised or unverified information sources and to refrain from sharing such information,” SAWS said.
