Two men accused of posing as police officers to rob and hijack motorists are expected to appear in court on Monday after their arrest during a joint police operation in Devon.
The suspects, aged 32 and 41, allegedly led police on a chase before being stopped in Leslie. Officers recovered an unlicensed firearm with ammunition, blue lights, SAPS and EMPD uniforms, and discovered the vehicle they were driving had been hijacked.
They face charges including possession of a suspected stolen vehicle, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, and impersonating police officers.
